Evolve was established in 1993 by Michael Lindsey Simpson and has built a reputation for innovation in creative education processes and corporate training.
True to that philosophy, for over 30 years, Evolve has created a wide range of programs to industry professionals, students, community groups, corporations and schools. In addition to schools, universities, community groups and arts organizations, evolve has worked with a diverse range of clients including HSBC Bank, Allianz, Deloitte, Citibank, BankWest, Westpac, Macquarie Bank, Rydges Hotels, Disney and many smaller businesses.

And we keep evolving... in 2024 we are very proud to launch two new programs that have long underpinned our values:
Our corporate inclusion programs assist organizations to promote and sustain diversity, access and opportunity at all employee levels. This follows successful CSR initiatives where the next generation of corporate leaders work alongside underprivileged youth to support grassroots causes.
Our performing online workshops for children "African Animals" spotlights wildlife protection for endangered animals. Our stage show "A Rare Performance" adapted Australian artist Helen Leitch's drawings of rare and endangered plants into a children's cabaret demonstrating the importance of plant conservation.
Today, Michael remains as Director and program leader, and runs the operations with MarQuis D. Rhodes. As required, they draw from their network of talented professionals to meet the needs of organizations large and small.
The business is headquartered in Singapore, with offices in Africa, Asia, America, Europe and Australia.
MEET THE TEAM
Combining his corporate background in law, training, teaching and business, with his passion and success in theater, film and dramatic arts, Michael uses this unique experience to blend corporate skills with theatrical skills to deliver powerful education programs.
After graduating second in the Order of Merit at the University of Sydney Law School, Michael energetically pursued his more creative side, moving into theater and film ambitions. Over his career he has been invited to work with Icon Productions, the Jim Henson Muppet Artists, Philippe Gentry and Jacques le Coq. He was also the recipient of the prestigious Derek Jacobi Scholarship to study Shakespeare with the British American Academy of Dramatic Art at Oxford University.
As a director and writer Michael has won a Silver Hugo at the Chicago International Film Festival for educational animation. And, as a teacher of drama Michael has taught at recognized schools both nationally and internationally including the New York Performing Arts Academy. It is this mix of experience ranging from law to acting that has enabled Evolve to develop a unique palette of training programs that have gained respect in both the corporate and performing arts fields.
With a life long passion for education and training, and experiences as a senior educator in the corporate sector, Marquis is key consultant for Evolve.
MarQuis works closely with Michael to develop training materials, create courses and present programs that are transformative for attendees and foster new skills and personal growth. He specializes in interpersonal skills, leadership, motivation, body language, non-verbal communication and vocal proficiency.
MarQuis also looks after marketing and PR for Evolve as well as oversees the technology and logistics for programs for clients both within Singapore and around the world. He has over 15 years experience leading teams and managing operational functions for large corporations.
With a diverse educational background including studies in science, business management, Real Estate Sales License and physical therapy, MarQuis combines an analytical mind with strong interpersonal and business skills.
