CREATIVE
STORYTELLING

Creative storytelling is a powerful way to engage audiences and create memorable experiences and inspire people of all ages.

Our animation work on The Piranhas was awarded a Silver Hugo at the Chicago International Film Awards, and our film production project for children had us invited to work with the Jim Henson artists in America.

Spanning film, animation and theater, Evolve's productions have garnered international and national awards for innovation and creativity.

Our deep understanding of storytelling has been successfully woven into our executive and educational programs to impart knowledge, motivate teams and drive change.

Evolve’s live theater productions combine illusion, puppetry, video, music, masks and visual effects, and have garnered international critical acclaim.

Our show, ‘A Rare Performance’, adapted Australian artist Helen Leitch's watercolor drawings of endangered plants into a children's cabaret. Evolve was invited to perform the show at the Cultural Olympiad in Atlanta and the Jim Henson Puppetry Festival in New York.

Manipulating black sheets of industrial plastic to shape the emotional landscape of Shakespeare's ‘Macbeth’ won Evolve many awards, including Community Performance of the Year in Western Australia.

Summoning the tales of Edgar Allan Poe to the stage in ‘Evermore’ extended into the creation of an online educational platform where students create their own versions of Poe's works.

Evolve's innovative animations have won international awards for their inventive character creations, unique storylines and effective education outcomes.

Our groundbreaking educational work, ‘The Piranhas’, won a Silver Hugo at the Chicago International Film Awards for health education, while ‘Natural Habits’ also received critical acclaim promoting childrens' health.

In recognition of our pioneering work, Evolve was invited to instruct Disney Australia’s animators in a series of puppetry and mask workshops to deepen their understanding of character movement and motivation.

To help reach and inspire a wider audience, Evolve has translated its expertise in live theater shows into the world of film production with exceptional results.

We often draw on the stories of classic film masters – such as those from the Chaplin and Keaton's silent film era – to tell a story that relates to today’s children.

Our short film ‘Pom Pom’, which explored the theme of happiness, led to Evolve being invited to work with the renowned Jim Henson artists and Icon Productions in the United States.
